Anne D. Nanos, 81, of North Wildwood passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Tony Nanos and her sister, Esther Hough, both of whom passed away in 2005. Anne was born and raised in Philadelphia and moved to Wildwood in 1961 after marrying her husband. Anne was a retired business owner from Wildwood and had a second career at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital and Cape Counseling, when she retired in 2014. Anne was a past board member of the Moose Lodge in North Wildwood and helped organize the Medical Explorers of Cape May County. After retiring, Anne continued to share her passion of cooking and baking for friends and family, as well as spending time with her Maltese, Sammy. Anne is survived by her son, James and daughter-in-law , Kathy Nanos, granddaughters, Heather Nanos and Caitlin Nanos, sister, Angie Karagianis, nieces and nephews, Maria and husband, George Georgalas and son, Andrew, Matthew and wife, Debbie Karagianis , and George Karagianis. Friends may call on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10 am at the Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Ave, North Wildwood, NJ.
