Obituary of James N. Konides

James N. Konides, 89 of North Wildwood, N.J. passed away Monday November
2, 2015. Born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania he was a local resident and
businessman for the past 65 years. Mr. Konides owned and operated the
Aloha Tropical Drinks on the Boardwalk for many years, and presently owned
the Acropolis Oceanfront Resort in North Wildwood. He was a veteran of WW
II in the U.S. Army, and was past president of the Board of Trustees of
St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of N. Wildwood, as well as the Order
of Ahepa. He is survived by his son Nicholas, daughter-in-law Jennifer,
grand-daughters Nicole and Sophia, sister Caroline Panella and many nieces
and nephews. A Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday
November 7, 2015 at St. Demetrios Church, 321 St. Demetrios Ave., N.
Wildwood, N.J. where friends may call from 9:00 a.m. in the Church.
Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetary, Lower Township, N.J. Donations
