Schaffer, Patricia Anne (Wigmore), 78, of Wildwood, NJ passed away at home Wednesday February 3rd, 2021. Patricia was born in Delair, NJ to Albert J. Wigmore and Anne Wigmore (nee Hunt) on March 24, 1942. She graduated from Merchantville High School in 1960 and moved to Wildwood in 1967. She was a local business owner of two businesses, Schaffer’s Variety and Schaffer’s Discount stores in the 80’s. Pat was an avid bowler in the local leagues, prior to her athletic and workforce retirement in 1994. Pat was fortunate enough to have traveled extensively throughout the world in her earlier years, but enjoyed herself the most sitting comfortably on her couch enjoying TV. She was a devoted Philly sports fan, was heavily into crafts, enjoyed gambling and playing cards and board games, loved her video games, and made QVC and Amazon very wealthy! Pat, or “Trish” to her dearly departed husband whom she was married to for over 50 years, was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend to many who were lucky enough to know her. Her generosity, much like her husband’s, was boundless, from making personalized stockings for every child and grandchild, cash gifts, or every conceivable gadget you ever saw on an infomercial. Pat was a spirited woman with a humor to match. Her laugh was infectious and nearly lethal on many occasions. Trish is predeceased by her husband of 52 years Ralph L. Schaffer Jr., survived by daughter Denise Swick, son and wife, Ralph and Rhonda Schaffer III, son and wife, Joseph and Yulia Schaffer. Patricia is predeceased by brother Al Wigmore, survived by brothers John Wigmore and Thomas Wigmore. Pat is survived by 11 grandchildren (Larissa and husband Jason, Bradley, Kyle, Sarah, Anthony, Ashlee, Sydney, Nikkie, Kahlan, and Samantha) and 5 great-grandchildren (Raelyn, Kensley, Nolan, Felix, and Everleigh). Family and friends may visit from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on February 10th, 2021, at Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Ave, North Wildwood, NJ. Interment following at Cold Springs Presbyterian Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Springs, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you buy yourself some lottery tickets and scratch-offs, in her honor and keep the winnings for yourself! 39 FOREVER!
