Dorothy Netsch Livingstone, of North Wildwood, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025. She was born in Philadelphia in 1931 to the late Fred and Marie Netsch. Dorothy grew up in Philadelphia where she married and raised her 3 children along with her late husband, Jack. After a lifetime of summer vacations “down the shore”, she moved year round to her North Wildwood home where she had wonderful neighbors. She enjoyed beach life; her home was the family hub and her grandchildren kept her busy and entertained. A loyal and lifelong Phillies fan, Dot also followed the Eagles and Flyers. She loved Philly sports radio, collectibles, crossword puzzles, Jeopardy, and the Hallmark Channel.
Dot was preceded in death by her husband, John Knox Livingstone SR. and her siblings, Mildred and Charles. She is survived by her children Joy (Steve) Michaelchuck, John JR (Cathy) Livingstone and Kim (Mike) Bentz; her grandchildren Sara (Tony), Ian (Cait), Gretchen (Michael), Alex, Tia, John III, and Eric (Alissa) and her great-grandchildren Ella, Owen, Svea and Leo.
Funeral services are private. Mom’s final resting place will be with Dad at the Columbarium at Trinity Presbyterian Church. We would like to acknowledge and thank her many caregivers who supported her during her long goodbye. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 499 Route 70 East, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 or North Wildwood Fire Department, Headquarters (Station 2), 400-A New Jersey Avenue, North Wildwood, NJ 08260.
