Richard Mark "Rich" Duhrkoff Obituary

    Richard M Duhrkoff, 79, of Wildwood, NJ passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025. He was a lifetime resident of Wildwood and a Graduate of Wildwood Catholic Class of 1964.   Richard enlisted in the United States Navy and servied with the " Seabee's" ( the Combat Engineers and Construction Unit of the U.S. Navy) .  Richard volunteered for 2 tours of duty in Vietnam.where the Navy was operating securing Sea Ports and the interior rivers with Docks , Landing Areas, and  Artillery Inplacements inplacements meanwhile they were constantly under hostile enemy fire.    The rivers where used to transport Enemy Troops and Supplies to the Viet Cong and the " NVA"  (North Vietnamese Army) 


        He was a carpenter for most of his life.   He is survived by his sister, Mary Keller of Bordentown Township, NJ and her family, his nephew, Adrian Grace of Wildwood, NJ,and his family , stepson, Eric Nevil and his family. Graveside service will be at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Friday, July 25, 2025 at 12 noon with full military honors and the awarding of his Americal Flag to his Sister.
