Joann Love Obituary

     Joann Love passed away on July 10, 2025 surrounded by her family. Joann was born April 16th, 1945 the first child of the late Reverend Frank C Love and his wife Katherine Love. She was raised in Mohegan West Virginia and graduated from the West Virginia School of the Deaf in 1964 in Romley West Virginia. She later settled in Wildwood New Jersey. 


   Joann was full of joy and embraced life to its fullest. She delighted in long walks in the sun. Through her love of dance and music her spirit uplifted everyone around her. She was gifted with sewing and knitting needles and crafted countless pieces with creativity and care. 


    Professionally, Joann dedicated herself to her role as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist for Jersey Cape where her work ethic and gentle presence were greatly appreciated. 


    Joann's elegance was unmistakable. She had a signature style marked by her beautifully coordinated outfits and matching hats. No matter when you saw her she was polished and poised with a timeless class that made her unforgettable.


    Joann was the matriarch of our family. She was a devoted mother, sister, and aunt. She always showed kindness, understanding and unyielding love. Even as she journeys home she will continue to be the guiding light of our family and  illuminate the path for us all.


    Joann now reunites with her beloved parents and sisters,  Lucy Love and Linda Love. She leaves behind her siblings Harold, Rose, Daniel, and David. 


    Joann is survived by her two children Josephine Love-Loftin (Martin) and Eddy Love. Her five grandchildren Aqi, Ameil, Bradswell, Myani, and Lex. Her nieces and nephews April, Demetrius (Sarah), Natasha, Dwan, Daniel Jr. (Tiffany), Johnny (Sylvia), and Samuel. Great nieces and nephews Ali'nzo (Briana), Demetrius, Anthony, Ezra, Khile, Mason, Emilia, Darius, Jordan, Anthony Sr., and a host of great nieces and nephews. 


  Clelebration of Life and Viewing 11 am to 12 noon Saturday , July 19, 2025 at the Ingersoll Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Ave., North Wildwood , NJ
