Thomas J. Fox Obituary

       Thomas James Fox, 72, passed from this earth on July 24, 2025, returning home to be with the Lord. He was a lifelong resident of Cape May County, NJ, growing up and spending the majority of his life in North Wildwood, NJ, volunteering and working in the community.  Previously employed in the plumbing and heating fields, he later worked in The North Wildwood Police Department, and The Cape May County Sheriff's Department. 


           He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Fox, 9 siblings, and over 42 nieces and nephews along with grandnieces and grandnephews.  He is predeceased by his Father and Mother, Bill & Grace Fox, as well as 2 brothers and 1 sister. Tom was an active member of North Wildwood Office of Emergency Management  for over 42 years of service to the community. Tom was also a very proud member of The Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge #1896 for over 37 years.  Through those years he held various offices within the Elks organization on the local, state, and national level for his district.  Tom was a social person, with a generous heart and loving spirit, who enjoyed time spent with his extended family, friends and colleagues, over the years.  Special memories were made on 17th Street in North Wildwood, with his favorite memories made at Christmas time with his family and friends. 


              Services will be held at The North Wildwood United Methodist Church , Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 11:00 am.  Friends may call from 9:00 to 10:45 am.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Wildwood United Methodist  Church, 139 2nd Avenue North Wildwood, NJ 08260 or to The Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge #1896, 109 West 1st Avenue, North Wildwood, NJ  08260.
