Barbara Ransom, 87, of Wildwood, NJ, Passed Away Surrounded by Family. Barbara Ransom, 87, of Wildwood, New Jersey, passed away on July 27, 2025, at her daughter's home in Bernardsville, NJ, with her children by her side. Born on October 31, 1937, in Woodbine, NJ, Barbara spent her formative years in the Wildwoods. It was in Cape May, NJ, where she met the love of her life, Ralph. The couple married in 1958 and made their home in the Wildwoods and Cape May for the majority of their lives. In retirement, they enjoyed living in Naples, Florida, and McKinney, Texas.

        Barbara had a career in banking, serving as Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors at Crest Savings & Loan. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler and remained full of life, cherishing time spent with family and friends. She enjoyed her beach days and her love for shopping. She deeply treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbara and Ralph also had the joy of traveling across the country together in their motorhome with friends.  Her loving family Lisa and Robert Falvo and their sons Sebastian & Gianni, Gail Cassidy and her daughters Lynn (Alex), Cindy, & son Sean (Devon) Steve and Holly Ransom and their sons Steven (Lily), Bradley, & Jordan (Erin) Her Loving Sister, Sandra Kosobucki, survive Barbara. Wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, and Uncle. Along with six cherished great grandchildren. Barbara is predeceased by her husband Ralph, her parents Anna & Edward Kosobucki, her son-in-law Leigh Cassidy. She will be remembered for her fun loving spirit, her zest for life and love she shared with all who knew her.  

        A Funeral Mass will be held at Assumption Church 7100 Seaview Ave. @ 11AM Friday 8/01. The calling hours will be from 10-11AM. Interment will be at St Mary’s Cemetery 1056 Seashore Rd.
