Raymond J Fiedler, Jr of Glenolden, Pa, 84 passed away on November 14, 2025, at his shore home in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey Ray dedicated 50 years to WCAU 10 as a Production Director for beloved programs like the Buddy Ryan, Randall Cunningham, Gene London and Pixanne Shows.  He also directed the nightly news,  and worked as the network television coordinator for the Eagles games, easily recognizable on the 30-yard line in his orange gloves calling the TV commercial time outs.  His talent, professionalism, and passion for broadcasting made him a respected and cherished presence in Philadelphia television. Ray loved traveling – especially cruising – and treasured every opportunity to spend time with is family.  His warmth, humor, kindness and storytelling touched everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise (Quinn) Fiedler and sister, Helen Scorsone.

Devoted father of Donna (John) Ward, Raymond (Dianne) Fiedler and Matthew Fiedler and proud grandfather of Mariah, Joseph & Brigid Ward and Shannon, Megan and Matthew Fiedler 

In lieu of formal service the family will hold a Christmas themed Celebration of Life Party at Mud Hen Restaurant’s Station House in Wildwood, NJ on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, from 2:00-5:00pm. 

In honor of Ray, guests are invited to wear festive Christmas attire and bring their favorite Ray story or memory to share.
