George F Neuman Obituary

George F. Neuman, Jr. “Gorgeous George”, 78, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Saturday, December, 6, 2025, (St. Nicholas Day).  He was a graduate of North Catholic High School, Class of 1965. George worked for the City of Philadelphia Recreation Department and as a Bartender for over 30 years.  An avid golfer, he had two holes in one to his credit.George was a veteran of the U S Army, serving in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the Wildwood Golf Club, Cape May National Golf Club and the Bensalem Country Club.


He is predeceased by his parents, George and Caroline Neuman  .Surviving him is his wife, Kathleen Neuman (Cameron), his beloved son, Scott Neuman (Diane), and his two beloved daughters, Bridget Neuman (Steven Tucci) and Lauren Smolen (John Giel), four granddaughters, Francesca Neuman Casey (Aidan), Brianna Neuman, Kierstyn Neuman, and Olivia Neuman.


Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, December 12, 2025 at St. Ann’s Church, 2900 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood, NJ with a calling time from 10 AM to 10:45 AM.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to your favorite veteran’s organization. Condolences at ingersollgreenwoodfh.com


A "Celebration of Life" reception will be held after services at the  Fairview Club in Wildwood.
