Richard Joseph Eife

March 23, 1932 - January 12, 2026

In his 94th year, beloved husband of the late Jean C. (nee Boehmer) Devoted father of Richard, Michael, Eileen(Joe Cummons), Denise(the late Tommy Liguori), Alan(Maureen), Beth Anne(Fred Oberst), Catherine, David (Beverly). Grandfather of Danielle, Brittany, Caitlin, Samantha, Casey, Joseph, Vincent, Alan, Lauren,Ryan, Matthew, Jonathan, Craig, Christopher, Jessica, Jaime, David, Britny and Nicholas  . Great Grandfather of Jackson, Max, Olivia, Jake, Dylan, Ellerie, Joseph, Charles, Charlotte, Penelope, Julia, Sophia, Mia, Amelia, Lillian  .

Humbly born in a cottage with no central heat, electric or plumbing to Rose Kennedy Eife and Sam Eife he joined his older siblings: Harry, Mary Agnes, John, Edward, Albert, Sonny, and Bob. In later years he was joined by his younger siblings: Don, Jerry, Rose Mary and David. Also in the household were an assortment of Co. Tyrone’s finest - his Aunts Rose and Mary along with an assortment of cousins. Money was scarce but they all lived in the comfort of family and in their shared sense of humor. (And a LOT of spuds, porridge and day old bread)

Dick was a lot of things: an athlete, a roofer, a sheet metal worker, a civil servant, skilled do it yourselfer, an occasional bartender, a boss, a decent card player and a loyal friend. He was most comfortable taking his place in his family - as a  son, brother, cousin, uncle and most important in his heart as husband,father and grandfather.

He loved his family above all else and taught at every opportunity that family came first, no questions.

He will be missed beyond measure by his loving immediate and extended family.

He will rejoin his beloved bride, Jean in a joint inurnment ceremony at Resurrection Cemetery 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020 at the convenience of family. Condolences at ingersollgreenwoodfh.com
