Michael “Mike” Savino

October 29, 1941- January 18, 2026

Michael “Mike” Savino passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of faith, devotion, and quiet strength. Mike was a man who loved God, cherished his family, and found great joy in sports—especially anything connected to Wildwood High School, which always held a special place in his heart. An honorable Army Veteran, Mike served to protect our country from 1964-1966.

Mike was a hard worker in every sense of the word. He believed in showing up, doing things the right way, and standing by his values. Simple in his ways yet rich in character, he was gentle but firm, kind yet unwavering. Though set in his ways, Mike respected the independence of others and allowed those he loved the freedom to be themselves—offering guidance when needed and support always.

At the center of Mike’s life was his wife of over 39 years, Alice, his steadfast partner and greatest blessing. Their marriage was a testament to commitment, loyalty, and enduring love. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Michele, and a proud and active stepfather to Josh Biondi and Paul Biondi, whom he was a wonderful role model for. Mike’s pride and joy were his grandchildren Chelsey, Makenzie, and Makayla and he was especially delighted by his great-grandson, Maverick, whose presence brought him immense love and hope for the future.Mike will be remembered for his steady presence, his deep faith, his love of family traditions, and the way he quietly but powerfully shaped the lives of those around him. His life was not measured by loud words or grand gestures, but by consistency, integrity, and love.
