Judith Susan Mazzotta Obituary

Judith Susan Wapner Mazzotta, of Wildwood Crest, passed away on January 29, 2026, after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

Judy was born on May 10th, 1947, to the late Ben and Zelda (Rowling) Wapner. She is survived by her beloved sister and best friend, Sharon Pullman, and Sharon’s husband, Glenn. She is also survived by her loving nephew, David Posternock, and niece, Susan Posternock, as well as many cousins.

Judy worked in customer service and hospitality throughout her career. First aside her dad at Atlantic Auto then, for more than 40 years, as a concierge at The Rio Motel in Wildwood and, finally, at The Lotus Motor Inn in Wildwood Crest. In her time behind both reception desks, Judy befriended many returning guests and kept in touch throughout the years. In her spare time, she loved reading, traveling, shopping with Sharon, and Freddie Mercury.

Judy’s family is eternally grateful to Adama, a “true angel,” for the loving care that she gave to Judy in her last two months of life. They would also like to thank Bayada Hospice for stepping in to help at a very difficult time.

An intimate graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, in Pitman, NJ, for family and friends on Thursday, February 5th at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judy’s name to Bayada Hospice, 1201 New Road, Suite 138, Linwood, NJ 08221.

We will miss you forever, Judy. Rest easy. Condolence at ingersollgreenwoodfh.com
