Jane Kolos Piotrowski, 97, passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2026.

Born in Philadelphia, Jane met her late husband, William Piotrowski, Sr., and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and hard work.  After beginning her career as a hairdresser, she went on to become co-owner of the beloved Cardinal Motel in North Wildwood.  What started as a small two story property grew, through their dedication and perseverance, into an expanded family-run business- a dream they quite literally built from the ground up.

Jane was a devoted Catholic whose faith guided her throughout her life.  She loved to travel, cherished time with her family, and enjoyed visiting Caesars Casino Atlantic City, where she could often be found trying her luck and enjoying the excitement.  She had a strong spirit, a generous heart, and a deep pride in both her family and her work.

She is survived by her sons, William S. Piotrowski, Jr., (Deneen Galik) and Steven Piotrowski; her grandchildren, Deneen Marie (Gage Mick) and William Frank Piotrowski, and her great-grandchild, Archer.  She will also be sadly missed by many extended family members and countless friends - especially the loyal customers who became part of her extended family over the years.

Her greatest legacy is her family and the dream she built in North Wildwood, which will continue on through her sons for generations to come.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Road, Cape May Court House, NJ.
