Born on January 9, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA to William and Mildred Mackey.
Attended Saint John Neumann High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1959-1960,where he earned his GED.
He was a self- employed Optician, and owned Mayer Optical for 30 years.
Loving husband of Diane Mackey. Father to Kellianne, Tim (Megan) Debbie (Ray), Bernie (Lisa), Frank (Tracy).
Grandfather to 11 and Great-Grandfather of 4.
Predeceased by Anne, Ray, Mickey, Judy. Survived by Tim (Susan), Theresa, Mary (Tommy) Kathy
(Jimmy) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation on Wednesday, March 18 from 9-11 am at Saint Anne Roman Catholic Church 2901 Atlantic Ave. Wildwood, NJ 08260. The mass will immediately follow.
The burial will be held 11 am on March 19 , at Saint Peter and Paul Cemetery 1600 Sproul Rd. Springfield, PA 19064.
