Rosemary Bryan Obituary
Rosemary (Moran) Bryan passed away peacefully at her home in North Wildwood surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 22,1941, she was the youngest of seven children born to Joseph and Regina Moran. Raised in the FlatIron neighborhood, Rosemary remained deeply proud of her Flatiron roots and Irish Heritage. She especially enjoyed Irish music. After losing her mother at a young age, Rosemary was lovingly raised by her father. She attended St. Anne’s Catholic Grade School and later completed her education at St. Anne’s Commercial. In 1960, Rosemary married Robert “Rocky”Bryan and together they built a loving home in Fishtown where they raised six children. Rosemary was the beloved matriarch of her family and will always be remembered as the glue that held everyone together. Their home on Montgomery Ave was a gathering place filled with family and friends every weekend and she made certain everyone had a place at her table for holiday dinners. Her door was always open and her warmth and generosity touched all who knew her. Following their retirement, Rocky and Rosemary moved to North Wildwood where they enjoyed spending time with family and friends. They traveled to Ireland, Mexico, went on a cruise and made the happiest memories for many years. Rosemary enjoyed spending time with her dinner club friends and savoring the occasional Zinfandel spritzer during happy hours. A devout Catholic, she held a deep devotion to morning Mass and praying the Rosary. Rosemary was known for her sweet voice, gentle and compassionate ear. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Rocky and beautiful daughter, Annemarie Bryan Gallagher, also brothers Joe, Bill and Johno Moran and her sister Theresa McKnight. She is survived by sisters Jeanie and Annamarie, her devoted children Robert Jr., Rosemary (George), Kathaleen (Joseph), John (Dawn), Patricia (Ralph) and son in law Jerry. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren: Amanda, Lynn, Michael, Robert, Hannah, Sonny, Georgie, Caitlin, Laura, Erin, Mary Kate, Patricia, Natalie, John John, Mathew, Mercedes, Kevin, Seth, Tate and Tristian as well as many cherished great grandchildren. Rosemary is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, all of whom held a very special place in her heart.
