Eileen Meier, 80, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026.

She was born and raised in Philadelphia, where she worked as a manager at the Bell Telephone Co. later known as AT&T, where she built a career based on hard work and developing relationships.

She later retired and moved to her dream location down the shore in Wildwood, NJ.

She was a proud member of the Elks where she volunteered and met hundreds of friends and lived the life she always wanted to live.

Eileen is survived by her sister, Sharon Clifford,  and her brothers, Michael Jakeman, and Thomas Jakeman, her nephews and niece: Michael Crean, Thomas Jakeman, Jr., Ashley Breitweiser, Anthony Jakeman, Great nieces and nephews: Elijah Jakeman, Leah Jakeman, Jacob Breitweiser and Julia Breitweiser.

Her greatest legacy is the dream she built in North Wildwood which will continue on in her sister, brothers, nephews and nieces.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated  11 am Monday, May 18, 2026 at St. Ann's Church , 2900 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood, NJ  where relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 am to 10:45 am. Condolences at ingersollgreenwoodfh.com
