Nick Herman, Sr., 74, of West Wildwood, NJ. Passed away peacefully at home Sunday, February 21, 2016. He was a resident of West Wildwood for 51 years, former co owner of ABS Sign Company, former Police Commissioner of West Wildwood, Past Chief of the West Wildwood Volunteer Fire Company, secretary of the N.J. State Fireman Association of West Wildwood. Nick was a avid fisherman and hunter. Also a member of AA 32 years sober, lead usher at St. Ann's Church for many years, and a member of the " Men of Malvern". Nick is survived my his wife of 52 years, Becky, four children, Becky Brennan ( Patrick) , Nick Herman, Jr.( Kelly ) , Sandy Syniowycz, and Dawn Williams ( Robert ) , three siblings, John, Madeleine, and Rita, 10 grandchildren, and Two great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Thursday, 2/25/16, with a viewing from 9 am to 9:45 am at St. Ann's Church, 2900 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood, NJ.
