Michael Charles McDonald “Cookie” passed away peacefully in the early hours of Monday, December 9, 2024. Mike was 75 years old. He is survived by his sister Patricia Ann Stewart and brother-in-law Charles G. Stewart, as well as his nieces and nephews and their families. Michael was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Helen McDonald and his sister Kathy Ott and brother-in-law Darryl Ott. Mike spent his life in Wildwood, New Jersey. A plumber by trade, his willingness to work and gregarious nature endeared him to many in the community. Neighbors became friends and friends became family to Mike. Tributes to his beloved Philadelphia Eagles adorned the walls of his home, a home he grew up in and spent his life in. Mike also worked maintenance at Cape May Technical High School. Mike’s legacy was honored in a simple ceremony on the beach near his home on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Family and friends attended. Michael Charles McDonald February 7, 1949 to December 9, 2024
