Edward Emmer, of Erma, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on July 11 after a long and productive life at the age of 92. Edward is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frieda, nee Ratz, his sons, Ed Jr., (Elisa) of Somerset, William (Stephanie) of Ramsey, and Michael (Anne), of Cape May Court House. Edward also had seven grandchildren, Christina, Amanda, Daniella, Kayla, Matthew, Teagan, and Delaney. Edward immigrated from Germany in 1952 after World War II, first to New York, then Teaneck, NJ, finally settling in Wildwood as a local motel owner. A viewing will be held Thursday, July 14 from 9:00-11:00am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2810 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood.
