I attended sweet Melissa’s celebration of life because I know and love her mom…♥️
I was one of the unlucky ones to not have know Melissa…
I wanted to post how moved I was at Melissa’s celebration of life. I felt the love she gave so freely around the entire church!!
Everyone who spoke eventually smiled thru tears as they remembered her and shared stories. They smiled because from what I learned Melissa smiled, and laughed and joked!
Someone on the way to our cars to get to the luncheon even yelled out” See Melissa is still getting us to take our clothes off! ”
Everyone laughed as we wadded thru the puddles…
It was pouring and the streets of WWC were flooded! We all took off shoes, socks, rolled
up our pants and waded thru the warm water honoring, loving, remembering, loving Sweet Melissa♥️
The thunder was booming all during the service! Melissa was felt in soooo many ways!
Love, Love, love… Love is all we need♥️
Diane’s very handsome son greeted me with a warm smile and sweet compliment as I Made my way to Melissa’s close family… To her beautiful mom… Diane her aunts Michelle and Terri
I worked at Crest Haven as a nurse with Diane. We liked to chat and support each other… Love to you all

There are no words to describe the loss of Melissa, just as there are no words to describe what she continues to mean to all of us. Those who had the opportunity to attend Melissa's memorial left filled with the love that she showered upon every person she met, as demonstrated by story after story chronicling that love. Because of Melissa, we all say "I love you" more. What a gift.

Missy, you were such a beautiful person inside and out. Your intelligence was inspiring and I was always amazed how fast you absorbed knowledge. I used to love X-C practices with you there. You always made me laugh and you had the cutest giggle when you would laugh. I hope many of your traits are passed down to your adorable daughter, Charlotte. It's so sad that you are no longer here, but you left behind such great memories for all of your family and friends to remember you by forever. May you RIP.

To the Rogers family
I really don't know quite what to say, never had the honor to meet Melissa, but felt I knew her from Kaitlee, she spoke so highly of her and what a great role model she was, I remember when Nicole passed that she was a great comfort Melissa was. She was taken to young, and that hurts but God truly needed another angel, I'm glad she got to experience motherhood and a man that truly loved her, may her mom, dad, husband, aunts uncles and everyone that was blessed enough to know her remember her with great memories and pride, May God wrap his arms around you and be with you now and forever.

I was saddened to here of Melissa's sudden passing and still get emotional when I think about the conversation I had with my father. I'm thankful that I had the pleasure of knowing Melissa. What an amazing person she was. She is and will forever be missed. My condolences to Jim, Diane, Jimmy and the rest of her family.
