Robert G. Necker, 97, of North Wildwood, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 2016. Bob was a true gentleman. He was soft spoken, kind, and generous. He was born in Philadelphia and served his country in WWII. Robert received his engineering degree from Drexel University, and ultimately became an executive with the Budd Corporation. He was also a devoted member of the Masonic Lodge. Bob is survived by his loving companion Charlotte Konopka and 2 grandchildren, John and Richard Welcker. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM , Wednesday, October 5th at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 9425 Third Avenue, Stone Harbor, NJ where friends may call from 10:30 AM.
