May the Angels and Martyrs carry you home to the loving arms of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You were a woman of great grace and strength, whose South Jersey grit and spirit inspired more people than you knew. I treasure the shared memories of great fun, laughter, and food. I envy the Heavenly banquet for your presence added to all who've gone before you. We will meet again, in God's time. I love you, Aunt Rita.

We are neighbors across the street in Wildwood Crest. We bought the property in April 2012 and Art (Mayor of Preston Ave) and his lovely, wonderful wife, Rita, immediately made us feel at home.
Rita was always solicitous of my grandchildren ensuring they got some great cookies during their visits. Rita was the epitome of good things come in small packages: strong, smart, loving and giving, a matriarch of a family of which she was so very proud.
Even in the face of her biggest battle, only in very private moments would she show her fear - it wasn't for herself - she wanted to do whatever it took to ensure she could be there for her darling, Art. What a wonderful couple who evidenced every day for the world to see their love for each other.
It was an honor to know Rita if only these few short years. Art, if there is ever anything you need, please do not hesitate to reach out.
