Obituary of Andrea M Ferry

Andrea M. Ferry (née: Monzo), 54, of Wildwood Crest, NJ, was called home, January 30th, after a courageous four year battle with cancer, which she fought with grace and dignity. She was surrounded by her family and closest friends. Andrea shared her life and her love with so many people who will miss her dearly. She loved decorating her beautiful home, shopping for the greatest gifts, and spending sunny days on the beach. Andrea could always find incredible bargains and astonishing deals. She was the envy of shoppers everywhere. Andrea was a remarkably loyal friend who never had a negative word to say. However being a mom was the most important and cherished purpose in Andrea's 54 years. .She was fiercely protective and extraordinarily proud of her daughter, Lizzy and her son, Jake. She was happiest when her house was filled with her friends and friends of her children, who she treated as her own. Andrea is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Ann (Santisi) Monzo, and her father-in-law, Rick Ferry. She is survived by her devoted husband of 23 years, John J., her beautiful daughter, Elizabeth, and her adoring son, Jake. She is also survived by her brothers Joseph Monzo (Linda), and Anthony Monzo (Kathy); In-Laws: Nancy Ferry (Mother-In-Law), Lynn Lattanzio (Paul), Nancy Loteck, and Matthew Ferry. Nieces and nephews: Natalie (Dominic) Melchiorre, Laura (T.J.) Shearland; Katie and Joe Monzo; Zachary, Nick and Katie Lattanzio; Lexi and Matt Mairone, and Mary Loteck. And her great nephew, Luca Melchiorre-who she adored with all her heart. Funeral services to celebrate Andrea’s life will be held on Saturday, February 4th at Assumption Roman Catholic Church, located at 7100 Seview Ave., Wildwood Crest, NJ. Visitation from 9AM-10:45AM, followed by Mass at 11 AM. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Cold Spring, NJ.
