Susan ( Nanny) Gallagher nee Trollen. 89. of Wildwood Crest, NJ and formerly of Northfield, NJ passed away Tuesday Feb. 7, 2017 with her family by her side. Susan was born in Glasgow, Scotland to Robert & Margaret Trollen on August 6, 1927. She immigrated to this country in 1959 and was the proud Owner of the Copper Penny Motel for over 27 years. She adored her children and grandchildren and took great pride in her Scottish Heritage.
Susan is survived by her Son, Matthew ( Kimberly) Gallagher, Daughter, Susan ( John) Phillips and Son Thomas ( Heather) Gallagher, Jr.. Her Grandchildren; Kristina ( Josh) Quinlan, Kaci Gallagher, John Phillips, Jr., Benjamin, Henry and Samuel Gallagher and her Brother Frank Trollen of Bristol, England. Also many nieces & nephews especially Joanne Kelly and Eileen Greco whom she helped raise. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Thomas, Brothers Robert Trollen and Hugh Trollen and Sisters May Hewitt and Margaret Kelly.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Monday Feb. 13, 2017 at the Church of the Assumption, 7100 Seaview Ave., Wildwood Crest, NJ where friends may call from 10am in the church. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Middle Township, NJ. Condolences ingersollgreenwoodfh.com
