HERE IS A MAN YOU WILL MEET VERY VERY FEW TIMES in your life, a real dedicated and hard worker who was fair and honest to anyone under him. A person with a beautiful family that he loved like no other, who suffered life's trials with quiet resolve. He had a heart as big as a summer moon. Always quick with a handshake and hearty "Where the heck have you been keeping yourself. Many's the story told over beers in the Firehouse, especially WWII where he was blown off an LST by friendly fire by accident. His St. Pat's day parties were truly entertaining and he and my dad and mom spent many summer evenings on Mr Young's porch talking WWII stories He will be most dearly missed. REQUIESCAT IN PACE

Chalie and family,
Please accept this condolence on the loss of a great patriarch. He has left us all with many a memory.

Who march with faces drawn,
From farmstead and from fishers' cot,
Along the banks of Ban" From Roddy McCorley Tommy Makem
