Obituary of Charles E. Holliday
Charles E. Holliday ( Doc) of Wildwood, NJ went Home on June 13, 2017 after a courageous battle with kidney disease. Born in Miami, Florida but a resident of Wildwood, NJ for the past 5 years. After serving in the Army from 1955-1958, he worked as a head chef for his uncles, Ed and Charles Zaberer in both McKee City and North Wildwood at Zaberer.s Anglesea Inn. He was the founder and sole sponsor of the Frances M. Zaberer Scholarship Foundation for culinary arts students at ACCC for over 30 years. He was predeceased by his son, Charles and survived by his daughter, Jeanette Geddis, of West Long Branch, NJ and three grandchildren, Brandon, John Frontera, Kelsey Frontera as well as cousins, Ed Olwell and wife ( Bobi Nevin), Marie Olwell, SSJ, Joseph and Marylou Olwell of North Wildwood, Hoglund family, John, Pat, Britt, Marc and Maeve, the Zaberer family: Jackie, Francis, Chrisy ( Zaberer) Bland and the Joyce family, Karen, Anne and John.
