Michael Metchnik, "Mickey" 69 of Wildwood Crest, NJ. Formerly of Cranford, NJ. Passed away on August 18, 2017. Mickey was a highly decorated Combat Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member and officer of the American Legion Post 184 of Wildwood and the Vietnam Veterans of America Post 955 of Wildwood, NJ.
He is survived by 2 children, Jennifer and Gregory Metchnik, a cousin, Rich Bittle, and granddaughter, Harley Metchnik.
Memorial Service 2 PM Wednesday, August 23,2017, at the American Legion Post 184, 4200 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood, NJ. 08260 In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Legion Post 184. Condolences at ingersollgreenwoodfh.com
