I literally just found out about the passing of Shirley. The memories that I have, from years gone by, will ALWAYS be etched in my heart. There was NOTHING like walking into the D&S Store.Shirley, always with a smile, and making EVERY child feel so SPECIAL! She was "ONE IN A MILLION!" She will ALWAYS be in my prayers, and NEVER forgotten! Thank you, Shirley, for ALL of the wonderful memories. May God Grant You Eternal Rest! With love, sympathy, and prayers....Annette Fusca (Pittsburgh, Pa.).,

Shirley was hands down one of a kind. In my life, I have encountered many people, but I have to say, the comfort you felt with this kind lady was unlike anything else in my life. She truly never had a mean word to say about anyone. I loved her like she was my own. My children loved her and my children's children loved her. Her kindness knew no bounds and for me and my family, she was a gift from heaven. Heaven may be a happier place right now but North Wildwood will never be the same. Her delight at absolutely anything you gave her, left you with such a feeling of peace. I love you Shirl.

Shirley was a wonderful and kind lady with a million stories of Anglesea and the Wildwoods. She was a long time member and supporter of the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse and I will miss the conversations I had with her whenever she came to visit on her bike. Our condolences go out to her surviving relatives. We will miss her. Steve Murray, Chairman Hereford Inlet Lighthouse
