Deacon Joe baptized my granddaughter, Mackenzie on her parent's first anniversary. Before the Baptism I took him aside and asked him if he would just wish them a Happy Anniversary but asked him not to tell them it was my idea.
Before the Baptism began he said "I was going through some records and see that Liz and Scott McCracken are celebrating their 1st anniversary today. " Then he asked the to come up on the alter and blessed their marriage. What a wonderful man.

Sorry to hear of his passing. He was truly a great person to all that he came across. I had the pleasure to meet both him and his wife many years ago while he was in real estate in the Wildwood areas and also when they had their only child Lynne Marie. He will truly be missed.
