Obituary of Carolyn S Jeffrey

Carolyn S. Jeffrey (Nanny), 84 of North Wildwood, New Jersey passed away on January 13, 2018 at Cape regional Medical Center with her family by her side. She was married to Gary L. Jeffrey for 44 years. Carolyn is survived by her children Ronald, Brenda, Janice and Billy, Grandchildren Gary, Carolyn, Theresa, William and Lisa. Her favorite son in law Tracy, they shared such a special unique bond that could never be broken. Her extended family is Paul, Joe, Jomuel and daughter-in-law Dez. Her great grandchildren Rosa, Jessica, Christian and Lindsey. Pre deceased by her Parents mother Elizabeth Schroen and father Fred Schroen and siblings brother William Frederick, sister Elizabeth Hannell. Surviving family members are niece Janet Hannell and cousin Helen Decker. Carolyn’s hobbies were crocheting, making her Jewish apple cake and spending time with her family. She loved watching Law and Order and White Christmas. She enjoyed eating her snacks more than anything. Her favorite singer was George Straight (I cross my heart). Carolyn was a very sweet and selfless person, she would give you the shirt off her back. Her daughter Janice spoiled her to no end with everything she loved while she was fighting to get well. Janice would bring her buckets of peppermint candies and hot hot Wawa coffee, along with everything she could possibly want. Carolyn fought harder than anyone I know for months and Janice told her that all the time. Mom (nanny) we can’t begin to explain the hurt we feel and how much we miss you it still doesn’t feel real. But we will continue to make you proud and we will love you for all eternity! Until we meet again! Your sass will forever be missed and most certainly never forgotten.
