Obituary of Francis J McAnaney

Francis J. McAnaney Jr., 74

of North Wildwood, NJ

passed away Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 surrounded by family. Francis “Frank” was born in Philadelphia Pa, but was a local resident of the Wildwoods for the past 70 years.  He graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School. Frank worked for the city of North Wildwood for 33 years as the head of the electrical department. He did extensive work on the Hereford Lighthouse and many projects for the city. Frank’s work ethic and love for learning was beyond compare.  Frank enjoyed spending time with his family teaching life lessons to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his father Francis J Sr., mother Regina, and son Francis III (Kathleen). He is survived by his devoted wife Toni, brother Joseph (Evelyn), sisters Regina and Mary (Thomas), brother in law Gary, his children Patrick, Carl, Jeffery (Robin), Candice, and Julie. Loving grandfather to Ryan, Ashley, Kevin, Danielle, Patrick, Bobby, Madison, Nicole, Raymond, Christopher, Frankie IV, Molly. He will forever be GG Pops to Emory, James and Nova. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday February 12th at St. Ann Church 2901 Atlantic Ave Wildwood NJ 08260. Friends may call from 9:30-10:45 am at the church. Mass at 11:00 am. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lower Township, N
