Obituary of Ernesto Mario Salvatico

Ernesto M. Salvatico, Sr. 89 of Wildwood, NJ., passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018.

Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, South America. Dedicated Son, Brother, Husband to Laura ( Maruja ) , Father, Grand Pop (Pop), Great Grand Pop Pop, Uncle (Tio), and friend to many.

Ernesto prided himself in his family and business. He successfully built his empire and operated his hotels in Wildwood for over 45 years.

He is survived by his loving offspring.

CHILDREN: Ernesto Mario Salvatico Jr., Oswald Salvatico, and Stella Maris Salvatico .

GRANDCHILDREN: Marissa, Robert, Christen, Nicole, Diana, Rocko Jr., Frederick, (granddaughter in law Katie) Stella, (grandson in law Matthew) and Melanie.

GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Jamison, Rocko III, Baylor, Ava, Kaylianna, Briella, Laureana

SISTER: Margarita and Nelson Martinez.

BROTHER IN LAW: Aladino Fro.

SISTER IN LAW: Maria Celia Fro.

Loving nieces and nephews. Fernando, Jose Jr., Natalia Salvatico, Sigire Martinez, Sandy, John, Adriana and Jose Fro.

Ernesto was a unique loving man, an inventor and mentor to many. He had a political great leadership skill, strength, courage and he also was admired by many.

He was a gentleman with a Heart of Gold. His values, beliefs and efforts in his life were nothing short of our Hero. He didn’t believe in ever quitting. He was an example of what a true man is.

He left behind an ever lasting great, Legacy. He was an epitome of the "American Dream" and will never be forgotten. He arrived to America with ten cents in his pocket and deceased a millionaire.

Visitation will be held from10 through 11 am Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Ingersoll Greenwood Funeral Home, North Wildwood, NJ.

Services will follow at 11am. For all of those that would like to pay their respects.
