Obituary of Rosemarie M Delgado

Rosemarie Margaret Delgado TILLSON, NY - Rosemarie Margaret Delgado, 70, a lifelong resident of Tillson, New York, most recently of Wildwood, N.J, passed away while in the comforting presence of her loving family at Cape Regional Medical Center on Monday, June 4, 2018, following a battle of a long illness.

She was born in Kingston, N.Y., on November 11, 1947; a daughter of the late Millard and Mary (Bilik) Sutherland and sister to Barbara Ann Thomas of Port Ewen N.Y. Rosemarie was a dedicated member of the Saint Mary of the Snow Church adult choir for 12 years, as well a Saugerties Columbiette. In her last 4 years, Rosemarie became a member of the Notre Dame de la Mer Parish Adult Choir in Wildwood NJ. She devoted herself throughout her life to her children, grandchildren and her beloved dog, Rusty.

She is survived by her three sons, Richard Delgado and granddaughter Alivia, of Saugerties, NY; Joseph Delgado along with his wife Lydia Delgado and granddaughter Emma, of Rochester, NY; Jonathan Delgado of Wildwood Crest, N.J; two nephews Michael Joseph Thomas of Kingston, NY and Jeffrey George Thomas of Alexandria, VA. She also leaves behind many loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at George J Moylan Funeral Home, 2053 NY-32, Rosendale, NY 12472, Town of Rosendale.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday June 8, 2018 at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, 1017 Keator Ave, Rosendale, NY 12472 by Father Joseph Wallace pastor of Notre Dame de la Mer Parish of Wildwood, NJ. Cremation at Cape May County Crematory and inurnment next to her beloved parents Millard and Mary (Bilik) Sutherland in Saint Peter’s Cemetery in Tillson New York.

The family suggests contributions in Rosemarie memory to Notre Dame de la Mer Music Program, 1500 Central Ave, Suite 100 North Wildwood, NJ 08260 or flowers for the funeral.
