James " Jimmy Z " Zukawski, of Wildwood, NJ owner of Mulligans Bar and Grill in Wildwood, loving husband, father and Pop Pop, passed  away suddenly on June 16th in Stuart, Florida at the age of 70. Originally from Drexel Hill, Pa, Jimmy's family relocated to North Wildwood when he was a young boy. As a graduate from Valley Forge Military Academy, Jimmy went on to proudly serve in the US Navy. Following his service, Jim returned to North Wildwood, had a family, and along with his brother Joe, purchased Tony's Café from their mother Helen and transformed it into the North Wildwood staple that it was. After going his own way in 1993, Jimmy and his wife Sue purchased the County Roost Bar. They re-named the tavern Mulligans and once again transformed that business into he family owned Wildwood landmark that remains to this day. Jimmy was also an avid outdoorsman, He loved to hunt, ski, play golf and especially loved to fish. Even more than that, he loved his friends and patrons. Jim touched so many lives in his 70 years it's hard to fathom. No matter who you were, Jimmy Z always offered you open arms, a wide smile, a soft ear, a friendly joke, and an unforgettable laugh. But above everything else, what Jimmy truly cherished was his family. He recognized that the true meaning of happiness and success derives from a loving family. He is survived by his beloved wife Sue, his loving children, Heather, Jennifer and Jonathan, his daughter-in-law Pam and son-in-law Doug. Lastly his 5 beautiful grandchildren, Jonathan, Jr., Autumn, Abigail, Logan and Jaxon  all of whom were the light of his life and whom he cherished with all his heart. A memorial service will be held 11am Thursday June 28th at the Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Ave., North Wildwood, NJ where friends may call from 9 to 10:45 am. Interment is private.
