Edward Evanchyk, 88, of Wildwood, NJ passed away Thursday June 21, 2018. Ed was a veteran of the US Army and the first native of Cape May County to build and fly his own airplane. He was the son of Anthony and Mary Evanchyk. Ed was pre-deceased by his son Thomas. He is survived by a sister Helen Baker, a niece Karen Baker and a nephew Adam Parker. A Special thanks to his caregivers Bill Shea, John Addae, Abe and all the rest. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Wednesday June 27th at St. Ann's Church, 2900 Atlantic Ave.. Wildwood, NJ where friends may call from 10am. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lower Township, NJ. Condolences may be sent to ingersollgreenwoodfh.com.
