Obituary of Rita G. Best

Rita Best (nee Rosenberg), 81, of Wildwood Crest, NJ died June 25, 2018.  Rita was the daughter of the Late Ruth and  Philip Rosenberg and was born and raised in Wildwood, NJ.  She grew up and worked in her family's candy business known as " Sagels" Candies.  She attended Wildwood High School and the University of Delaware.  Rita met and married her husband Jerry on the Wildwood Boardwalk and shorty thereafter owned and operated "The Fun Shop" for over 20 years.

    In the mid 1970's Rita and her family owned and operated "Wagon Wheel Flower and Gift Shop" for over 35 years.  She was an active and lifelong member of her much loved Synagogue, " Beth Judah Temple" where she was married and where her children had Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and weddings.

   Rita is survived by her son, Samuel Best ( Lisa), her three daughters, Linda Shaen ( Michael), Audrey Berko ( David), and Sherri Altman ( Brian ) , seven grandchildren, Dominique, Juliet, Gia, Jerry, Jacob, Brad, and Robin.

Relatives and Friends are invited to Funeral  Services at 12 Noon , June 27, 2018 at Beth Judah Temple, Spencer & Pacific Aves., Wildwood, NJ  08260.   An internment will follow at the Alliance Cemetery, 970 Gershal Ave., Norma, NJ 08347
