Obituary of Maryanne B Holden

Maryanne Bernadette Holden, 74, of North Wildwood, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. 

Born November 2, 1943 in Northeast Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Friend and Mary J. Friend.  

Maryanne attended St. Hubert’s High School in Philadelphia, PA and graduated in 1961.  She was a loving mother, devoted sister, and dedicated friend. 

Maryanne enjoyed chatting with her many friends and never forgot special dates and milestones in the lives of everyone she met. Maryanne brought joy to all who knew her with her bubbly personality and positive outlook.  She lived a vibrant and independent life, in spite of living with Multiple Sclerosis for over 40 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Forrest Holden, her son, Thomas Holden, and his wife, Heather, her grandson, Jacob Day, and her three brothers William Friend, Jr. and his wife, Barbara, Larry Friend and his wife, Janet, and Robert Friend and his wife Grace. 

Memorial mass will be conducted at 11:00am on Monday, July 30 at the St. Ann Church of Notre Dame de la Mer parish, 2901 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood, NJ 08260 where friends may call from 10 am to 10:45 am  at the church, followed by a celebration of her life with family and friends.  Donations in memory of Maryanne may be made to the National MS Society.org Condolences may be sent to ingersollgreenwoodfh.com
