Obituary of William E Braker
William E. Braker , 72, of West Wildwood, NJ passed away Oct. 22nd 2018. Born 1946 at Margaret Mace Hospital in North wildwood he has been a lifelong resident of West Wildwood. Mr. Braker attended Wildwood High School class of 1964 and served in the US Army from 1965-1968 with a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967. He was a life member of VVA, Past President of West Wildwood Vol. Fire Co., Past President of the Greater Wildwood Jaycees, Life member of Jaycees International Senator #31265, Commissioner of Revenue & Finance for the Borough of West Wildwood 1974-1996, Member NJLM Elected Officials Hall of Fame and a life long member of the First Baptist Church of Wildwood. He is survived by his aunt Bessie Bandel of Leisure Town, NJ, his niece Margaret ( Peg) Whitley, New Smyrna Beach, Fl., his close friend Carol Jordan of Cape May Court House, NJ and many cousins, friends and extended family. Funeral services will be held 11am Friday Oct. 26, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Wildwood, Maple & Atlantic Aves., Wildwood, NJ where friends may call from 10 am in the church. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Middle Township, NJ. Donations in memory of Mr. Braker may be made to the memorial fund of the First Baptist Church of Wildwood.
