To the entire Sharkey Family,
I was so very shocked and saddened to hear of Connor's passing. I'm sure I was probably one of his oldest friends and went to Lincoln School in New Providence with him.(Before Salt Brook was even built)! We shared some very, very good times along with our little grade school "clique". My goodness, it was so very long ago. I can still remember trick or treating with the entire crazy group of us! Poor Mrs. Sozio had to put up with our entire class and you Connor, always the ring leader!
I was lucky enough to have run into you after years and years of not seeing you at Bally's in Atlantic City at a convention I attended when you worked there. It was so nice to run into you, give you a big hug, and reminisce about the good old days and people we knew. It was like no time had passed us by. Like it was just yesterday!
I'm so very sorry to hear you left us and I wish we had been able to keep in closer touch. I am happy to hear you fulfilled your dreams of having a wonderful career, beautiful daughter, doing the things you loved, like boating and fishing and living the good life. Being involved in your community and doing well for everyone you knew.
You'll live forever in our hearts Connor and we'll never forget someone who made all the difference in our lives when we were all growing up together. Sorry you had to leave us so soon but, we'll all be together again in time so, save us all a place at the lunch table. We'll miss you, Peter, Bryan, Tommy Gill, Tommy Vech. and some others I know are with you. Hope you're all having the best of times and have reunited. We miss you all.
Your 4-Ever Friend from N.P.
Lynne M. Barry

Sharkey Family,
We are so sorry for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you in this most difficult time. We will always cherish out memories with Connor from our summers in North Wildwood — sharing fudgie wudgies, wiffle ball games, and friendly Philadelphia sports banter. We will truly miss him.
Lots of love,
Casey and Courtney

I am so sorry to hear of Connor's passing. We grew up together, going to school in small town Watchung and then attending college together at Stockton State. He was a year older than I and Connor welcomed me to campus, helping me to get established in my new community. I will always appreciate his friendship during those years. Conner was caring, generous and had a great sense of humor. Deepest sympathy for your loss.

My condolences to Danielle and Connor's family. I was a high school classmate of Connor's at Watchung Hills and played baseball with him. He was a great addition to our Watchung community. He was an all-around great guy who always had a smile and good word for you.
