Obituary of Christine Cramer Hogan
Christine Cramer Hogan, 52, of Wildwood Crest, NJ peacefully passed away to be with her Lord and Savior on December 23, 2018.
Christine was a lifelong member of the Wildwood Community. She graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School. In her early 20s, Christine was swept off her feet by a Coast Guardsman, Michael. Christine, Michael, and Brielle moved to his home state of Minnesota. In 2001, Christine graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Christine’s compassion, hard work, dedication, and determination as a Registered Nurse gained her more responsibility at North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale, MN. She quickly became Charge Nurse of a Step-down Cardiac Unit. After her time as a Floor Nurse and Charge Nurse, she wanted to explore the administrative side of nursing and secured a role as Nurse Manager of a busy Telemetry Unit at Methodist Hospital, St. Louis Park, MN.
Christine was an active and loving Grandmother of two lovely boys, Aiden, 11; Linden, 9. She was present at both their births. Christine was always a cuddly “Mimi”, reading to them, entertaining them at the Mall of America, enjoying boat days on Lake Minnetonka (MN) or the St. Croix River (MN), or simply enjoying beach time together at the shore (NJ).
In 2010, Christine moved home to Wildwood to be closer to family. Christine spent her remaining years with Mark Soto.
Christine’s warm heart, kindness, compassion, smile, laugh, and sense of humor will be sorely missed.
Christine was survived by both of her parents, Kenneth (Sr) and Linda Cramer; sister, Sharon (Cramer) Gellura and her husband Sal Gellura; brother, Dr. Ken Cramer and his wife Nicole Cramer; Ex-husband, Michael Hogan; daughter, Brielle (Hogan) Davis and her husband Michael Davis Jr.; Grandsons, Aiden and Linden; and her nieces and nephews: Corey, Jamie, Jordan, Josh, Rachel, Anya, Chloe, and Kenni.
Funeral services were held Thursday 12/27/18 at the Crest Community Church in Wildwood Crest, NJ.
