Greetings to the family and please accept our condolences.
Russ and I met Kathy on a cruise from Greece to Venice.
We became immediate friends with her, Madalyn and Vicky.
We were lucky to be able to get together with her again in Florida last year at
Madalyn's and she brought laughter into our heart one more time.
She will be missed.

Mason family,
My deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear sister Kathleen. I spoke with Kathy around Thanksgiving time and told her I was thankful for her friendship and for having her family being part of me and my family's life. Wonderful memories
Rest in peace Kathy

So sad to hear this news. I worked with Kathy for many years in Lindenwold. She was a wonderful person and so much fun to be around. She did so much good for so many students in her career too. May she rest easy now after her battles with cancer. I wish her family comfort in their memories of Kathy.

I met Kathy when she and her friend Maryann moved to my hometown, the North End of Boston back in the 80s. We became fast friends. I have nothing but good memories. Summer weekends down the Jersey Shore, Atlantic City casinos on New Year's Eve and Mummers parade the next day in Philly. It was a lot of good times and Kathy was a special person. I'll hold all those memories close, and may Kathy rest in eternal peace.

Kathy was a close friend of mine for almost 40 years. She touched my family in so many ways throughout our friendship. She helped out when my kids were little and dropped them off to my babysitter which her work office was only 5 minutes away. Always lending a helping hand with my daughter’s schoolwork, coming to see my son play at his HS baseball game. Oh of course we chatted the whole time ( but acted like we watched every play). Kathy never Hesitated to lend a helping hand and always had a smile and something positive to say.She was a breath of fresh air whenever I was in her company. My fonest memory will be when I met her and her sister Nancy at our favorite place on Haddon Ave (Bricco’s) and of course I got lost and Nancy and Kathy where hysterical laughing when I walked in and May I remind you I only live 10 minutes away from the restaurant. Always good times when we were together. You will be missed and you will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
Love ,
Diane Giandrea ❤️

How lucky I was to be hired as a school psychologist in Lindenwold in 2002. Kathy was my mentor. When I cried over the findings of my first psychological evaluation there, Kathy found a way to put the experience into a totally new perspective. I knew that she was a little repulsed by the tears that ran down my face despite my best efforts to hold them back. I soon understood that I had to be a lot stronger - like she was - if I was gong to make it in Lindenwold. More than 17 years later, I’m so incredibly grateful for all that I learned from Kathy, much of which I didn’t even realize until several years after she’d taught me. Yep, I’m a slow learner. But this I know: Kathy Mason was a momentous person in the lives of innumerable children who attended Lindenwold Schools.Through her work and her relationships, Kathy’s influence will ripple forward through several generations.
Thank you, Kathy. You were a genuine blessing and will continue to be an inspiration.

I too, had the honor and pleasure of working with Kathy since 1992 until her retirement. She was the best at what she did in her profession and she could always find the humor in a difficult situation. She was a very special lady and will be greatly missed by many who knew and loved her. My thoughts are with her family at this very difficult time. Rest in Peace, Kathy.

I cannot believe that I am writing this. I've known Kathy since 1992 when I started working with her in Lindenwold. She became my family and I will never forget her. I am happy that we remained good friends after her retirement from the "Weed" as she so affectionately called it. I could always count on her to make me laugh. She had no trouble laughing at herself, either. She was a very, very special person and I will miss her terribly.
