Obituary of Margaret Ann Keiffer

Margaret Ann Weatherholt Keiffer, 93, of North Wildwood, New Jersey, passed away peacefully to the Lord on Friday, January 25, 2019, with family by her side after a short illness.

Margaret was born in Dartmoor, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Luther Gordon and Lillie (St. Clair) Weatherholt.

She graduated from Shinnston High School in WV in 1943 where she was a majorette and met her husband of 47 years, John Preston Keiffer Jr.  Margaret worked at Westinghouse making radar tubes during WW II. They moved to Dunbar WV in the late 1950's where she was a loving mother, homemaker and provided care for several children.  Margaret loved watching sports and particularly enjoyed college football and her Virginia Tech Hokies!  In 2017 she moved to New Jersey.

She is survived by a son, John Keiffer III of Dunbar WV; a son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Valerie Keiffer of North Wildwood, NJ; a grandson and his wife, Preston and Jenna Keiffer of North Brunswick, NJ; sister-in-law Edna Weatherholt of Parkersburg WV;  sister-in-law Donna Brohard of Spencer WV, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.

Burial will be at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery in Shinnston WV.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family suggests memorial donations to The Lighthouse Church, 1248 Route 9 South, Cape May Courthouse, NJ 08210.
