Obituary of Pauline T. Hall
PAULINE T. LASATER HALL, 102, of Cape May Court House, went peacefully to be with her Lord, Dec. 2, 2019. Pauline was affectionately known to her family and many others as Oma. She was born in Merkel, Texas, to Theodor and Anne Lasater on July 30, 1917, while World War I was raging. She was the last one of seven siblings to depart this earth.
As a young woman, she moved with two of her sisters to Washington, D.C. , participating in the war effort as a teletype operator. It is there that she met her husband to be, Milton, to whom she was married for 52 years, until his death in 1994. They moved to Huntsville, Ala. then to Las Cruces, NM. Together they raised their four children, Daniel M. Hall of Farmington, NM, deceased; Arthur R. Hall of Wildwood Crest, (wife, Patricia); Dennis O. Hall of Wildwood Crest, (wife, Terri); E. Elaine Draper of Moriarty, NM (husband, Mike). In 1994 they resettled in Cape May County, joining two of their sons.
Pauline was the grandmother of Dennis R. Hall, deceased (wife, Celeste); Benjamin N. Hall (wife, Soledad); Annafaith Mauck (husband, Keith), Meredith Steurnagel (husband, Paul), Amanda Romo (husband, Chris), David Hall, Rebekah Richard, (husband, Nathan), Michelle Barela and Daniel Draper (wife, Kayla). In addition, Pauline had 23 great grandchildren.
Services will take place at the Lighthouse Church, where she was a member for many years. They will be on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 11 AM, with visitation at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in CMCH.
