Obituary of Vincent Caltagirone

Vincent Caltagirone, 69, of Philadelphia, PA (resident of North Wildwood, NJ) passed away suddenly Sunday, February 9, 2020. He has been a local permanent resident of North Wildwood for 11 years. Vince was a Veteran of the United States Air Force after serving for 4 years. He was a Sheet Metal worker for Local 19 in Philadelphia, a member of the local Elks and Moose Lodges, and a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School Class of 1968. Vince never missed a chance to support and cheer on his children and grandchildren at every game, competition or life event. He was a mentor to those who needed it personally and professionally. He enjoyed fishing, golf, darts, watching sports, crossword puzzles and most of all, being with his family. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, the enchanting way he could tell a story and always being a stellar example of a good Husband, Father, Popi, and Friend. Vince is survived by his wife and love of his life of 49 years, Lucy Caltagirone, daughter Mia Randazzo, son Mark Caltagirone, and grandchildren Croce and Isabella Randazzo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 Friday, February 14, 2020 at St. Ann’s Church, 2900 Atlantic Ave, Wildwood, NJ. Friends may call from 10 am to 12 at the church, service to follow. Interment will be in Cape May County Veteran’s Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd. Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
