Obituary of Francis W Maletteri, Jr.

Francis Maletteri Jr, 60 Left this world peacefully on July 3rd 2020 Franny, the Franswa of culinary art. A lifelong resident of Wildwood Crest and having worked at many fine restaurants here and in Southern Florida, he developed a passion and wizardry in serving up generously to his family and friends always a meal to remember. His enthusiastic description of these superb dishes in exquisite detail as he was serving was as delightful as the food itself. His amazing , humorous outgoing personality was relaxing and entertaining in any situation, even tense medical environments became a happy place soon after his arrival. Franny was a walking encyclopedia of his fond youthful memories, which he would read from more than one could imagine. Well, way more than one could imagine. These memories were a gravity that kept his lifelong friends together, and he loved them the most. One of his proudest memories was playing along side his best friends as they went on to become the World Champions of Ultimate Frisbee! We all loved the awesome sounds of his unique vinyl collection spun on his top-of-the-line vintage sound equipment. Which again he played with a contagious enthusiasm. Franny was content with a simple life. A bike ride, a dip in the ocean, a little fishing, and lighthearted conversation with friends and acquaintances made him happy. He will be sorely missed by his many friends as well as his family. Predeceased by parents Francis And Barbara Maletteri. Survived by sisters Michelle (Michael), Colette Maletteri-Smith (Jack), brother Jamie, and nephew Kristofer Kane. The Lord’s feast must be near, he just took himself a fine Chef!
