Grassi, Alfred E. "Fred", 76- of Wildwood Crest was reunited with his beloved wife, Linda Grassi, in heaven on September 3, 2020. He was born on June 15, 1944, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Erminda (Molly) and Cosimo (Joe) Grassi. He grew up in the Wildwoods and graduated from Wildwood High School. Fred served in the National Guard and later worked for Acme Markets. He went on to work in his family's business, Grassi & Sons and then Lowe's, respectively. He had a passion for being on the water, ballroom dancing, a love of music, and cooking the most delicious mussels and spaghetti. His most cherished pastime was spending time with his three grandsons who delighted him. Fred is predeceased by his loving wife, Linda Bickel Grassi; his parents, Molly and Joe; and siblings, Joseph and Albert. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Christa (Mario) Nocito and Andrew Grassi; grandchildren: Jackson, Luke, and Brody Nocito and a loving extended family. A celebration of Fred's life will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at The Lighthouse Church, 1248 Route 9 South, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Visitation will be 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Masks are required, please.
