Louis Cole, 74 of Philadelphia, PA passed away after a long battle of health
issues Monday evening December 14, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, PA Lou retired
from his 31-year career as a Philadelphia firefighter. Always willing to help out,
especially his family and friends. Quiet and subtly funny personality,
good-natured man. He certainly left all he knew many good things to
remember. He has been a local resident for the past 20 years. He was a
member of the Elks Lodge of North Wildwood #1896, was the secretary for the
Ancient Order of Hibernians and a long time Emerald Society member.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Helen also his brother James.
He is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Cooper), sister Mary McKee, daughters Tina
(Cole) and Dave Hill and Amanda Cole. Stepfather of Brandi and (Kurt E.
Stengel), and Robert Cooper (Caroline Kell). Grandfather of David Hill Jr.,
Matthew Hill, Kurt J. Stengel and Luke Stengel.
Friends may begin to call at 10:00 AM with a mass to follow at 11:00 AM on Monday Dec. 21st at St. Ann’s Church, 2900 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Lou’s name to Saint Jude. https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html?frequency_selected=2&
