Obituary of Robert E Taylor

Robert E Taylor, 83, of North Wildwood, passed away peacefully at home with his family on January 13th. Bob was born in Mayville and spent his life in Cape May County. He was a graduate of Cape May High School, class of 1955. Joined and served in the US Navy. Bob retired from the NJ DOT, was previously a commercial fisherman and spent over 45 years as a Fudgy Wudgy Man on the North Wildwood Beach. He loved to fish, especially surf fishing in North Wildwood and Cape Hatteras. He is predeceased by his parents Raymond and Cordelia and son Robert R. Survived by his wife Rita of 56 years, children Patricia (Mike) Preston, Joseph (Barbara) Taylor, and Suzanne (Harry) Hoover. Sisters Betty Anne and Barbara, brother Donald, brother-in- law Tom (Diane), sister-in-law Donna. Six grandchildren, Taylor Rae, Isabella, Nick(Sabrina), Delia, Rita and Jen(TJ) and five Great Grandchildren. Due to the current environment the family has decided to not have services.
