Obituary of Darlene B Stephan

Darlene B. Stephan, 94, of North Wildwood, NJ, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Thursday, March 11, 2021. Darlene was born in Camden on April 19th, 1926. Darlene married William Stephan on November 23, 1947, had 3 wonderful children and enjoyed 74 blissful years with him. Darlene, a strong and confident woman, was very well loved and always left a mark on others around her. Darlene’s personality was electric and it attracted people from all walks of life spanning generations. She enjoyed good food, a nice drink and friends and family. Follow the sound of loud music playing and you would likely find Darlene, dancing, singing or maybe lounging out by her pool with friends and family. She was a wonderful and proud Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who loved her family with all her heart no matter the situation. Although the world is much duller, Heaven is now brighter and much more lively place. She is survived by her Husband William Stephan, Two daughters, Debra D’Acqua and Linda DiLiberto, her son John Stephan, her 7 grandchildren and 9 great grand children. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11AM this Monday, March 15, 2021at Notre Dame De La Mer Parish, 2901 Atlantic Ave, Wildwood, NJ. The viewing will be held prior to the mass from 10:00am - 10:45am. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lower Township, NJ following the mass. Darlene was a devout Catholic. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Notre Dame de la Mer Parish.
